Any particular reason for not extending the Plexi to the edge of the aluminum?
    I can't find a reason nowheres.

Looks wicked and clean as always. :thumb:

I'll shut up now.:p It's just I'm wired to think the plastic bits should be one part.

Yes, but what if one of the brackets snapped from the tremendous strain of space/time vectoring?

    OK. I'll shut up too.

    Hi oldnewby
And congratulations for your great work ;)
But may I have your authorization to present your amazing work (Cygnus X1, Na'ir al Saif) to the HARDWARE magazine/PC UPDATE (www.techage.fr), two bi-monthly issues about PC Hardware and Software ? I will be very honored if I could.
    Regards.

    Manuel

Thanks a lot for the comments. :)

@elfedac, welcome to bit tech and permission granted. :thumb::lol:

It just never occured to me. I went for the bolts on autopilot. :hehe:

    Thanks Ediejo. :thumb:

No reason. These are pretty utilitarian and are just to hold the fans. They won't be seen
    when the chassis is complete.

    Haha.

(serious voice) Yes those bolts are made from a cobolt, berillium, titanium, hafnium,
neodymium, Ijustmadeitupnium alloy. They are designed to shear on approach to
the event horizon thus protecting the occupants....good grief....I'll shut up now. :geek:

So the fan bodies are fitted.

All the brackets are different and in different positions due to the rear channel mounting.

My mind drifted for just a second and I drilled right through the second skin.
    I can fill this later.

The next step is supposed to be making the cover but I don't have the GFX card yet,
and I really need it in place to see how much room I have.
I'll just have move onto something else.

    Back soon. :)

Very nice. I like the look of the case in the last pic. Those fan housings look really good in the case IMHO.

I hope you keep the case bare metal.

    Amazing work as always.
The constant flow of updates makes me wonder what you do for a living? If you have a job while you have the time to produce at this pace..then it's hat of for you...again :)

Looked through the last update again just now.
The word 'Utilitarian' made me want to do a scratchbuild based 90% on function and 10% on making it look gritty.

    Curse youuu!
