So i installed TF2 to get my veteran medal, and it says "Hire Date: Sept. 23, 2007" which is odd since the internet says the orange box only came out in october. What's even more interresting is that despite (apparently) having played the game before it came out, i only got the silver medal. What gives?
I know those who took part in the Tf2 beta will have a pre-release hire date but they should also get a Primeval warrior medal. Valve have had lots of problems with this update so i guesss you just have to wait until it's fixed
/confused. the orange box came out ages ago btw. about 3 years ago now. i think. might be wrong. probably am wrong. cba using google wear the medal and stand proud son.
Hmm, some thing has gone wrong if you have the silver medal. That hire date should mean a primeval warrior medal I got tf2 with orange box and got the gold medal, contact steam support if you have the wrong one.
Oh wait, that's what i have! DUH i thought it was silver, lol. Further proof that men cannot see as many colors. But... i don't recall being in the TF2 beta. I meant october 2007, not last october obviously
You dont need to have actually played the beta, you just have to have purchased tf2/orangebox before release. ps I really do like my primeval medal.
What's the point in the medal though? I got soo confused when I saw it on the equip screen. Couldn't they have just given me a scarf or something? :3
