Yeah, I built my new computer, it was really satisfying actually (my first build). I gotta say, the HD5770 is awesome, I got the XFX one for approx £125. I can play crysis at 1600x900 everything turned up high at about 30-40 fps which is pretty decent. Then the card rips through race driver grid, like max resolution 1600x900, everything turned up high, the framerate is extremely high and I did dual monitor (eyefinity) race driver grid too which wasn't as much fun (half the car was on one side, the other on the other monitor). And CODMW2 again, this card rips through it, like 100fps everything high 1600x900 res.

The rest of my new build spec in case u need to analyse:
    AMD Phenom II 550 BE
    MSI C45 mobo
    2gb DDR3 ram (1333MHz corsair)

anyways, good luck with your upgrade. I certainly loved my HD5770 :) (All the framerates I said were without overclocking yet :D, I'll do that in the summer)

The 5770 would be the best choice, good performance, low power consumption, low heat, all you could possibly need.

GTX 260-216 = faster overall In the games you listed I'd say, but the res you're playing at the HD 5770 makes the best sense for price/performance/future proofing

    Get the HD 5770.
