These games reminded me of how much I hate platformers.

 

I've played both games, and I disliked Orton and the Princess but liked Seven Minutes. Seven Minutes is an interesting concept and thought about humanity applied quite well (although hit detection seemed off and max jump height seemed to vary a lot). It felt like more VVVVVV in a way, another platformer I loved. Orton, on the other hand, was annoying. The narrator certainly doesn't help, and it's exceptionally annoying if you accidentally mess up near the end of a difficult level and have to redo all the difficult bits at the start (especially that stupid Garbage Chucker). Also, jumping is x instead of up. I hate that.

EDIT: Also: The music in Seven Minutes really adds to the feel of the game, whereas the music in Orton was like the game was mocking me

 

I'd recommend linking to the direct download on the developers website (found here http://www.virtanen.urli.net/) instead of a flash site that tries (and fails) to install a plugin.

 

Thought it was kinda cool, but due to having to move with my right hand and jump with my left, I didn't bother playing past the 3rd level. Why he didn't use the up key for jump is beyond me.

 

Evil garbage thrower is evil!

Also playing with 2 hands was ok, It reminded me of playing Mario.
Maybe that was the point?

Narrator sounds like a cross between WoG's Sign Painter and Portal's GLADoS!
