    Looking great dude :)

If the clearance isn't to big then 2 sheets of thin rubber may create enough friction to hold it in place. I know its probably safe but I'm always a bit worried about magnets and computers :worried:

I know people that have used magnets to hold their side panel windows on. And they were pretty heavy duty magnets. If you use small magnets that you can buy at your local hardware store (they are usually rectangular and come in long rolls) then you shouldn't worry about it. Just glue them down to make sure they don't go anywhere.

    Full shots:
Ok, so I took the case outside, for a few shots. The case is assembled, and ready fors ome glamour shots.

I didn’t get any help from mother nature though, the weekend I shot these pics it started raining the minute I got outside. So these are the only shots I could make.

A full shot. Again, the sky was completely clouded, so the natural light was very bad.

    The sidepanel, untouched.

The backside, I just noticed I forgot to put the 6th PCI-slot cover back in place… oops!

I love the glossy sidepanel, not a scratch!

    Overview

Just to show how shiney and mirror-like the window is… I put it next to a brick wall:
    Now how nice is that?!

Next, a couple of detail shots.
How do I get my case to look like a monster? It looks HUUUUUUUUUUGE in this shot!

Talking about gamourshots! This is the best pic I have ever made if I’d say myself…
    [IMG]

Once again, a shot from below:

Then I took the case inside, to put some life in it.
Dimmed the lights, closed the curtains and powered up my baby.

    All curtains closed:

What’s that? You want to see how the interior looks? Well… h’okay, here you go!

And a good shot to finish this update.

I’m planning to build myself a proper photostudio/setup.
A softbox, a small table with a black backdrop and possibly more.
Tips and tricks are welcome, I want to make some awesome glamour shots!

Looks fantastic. I like to see nice subtle mods, it is the sort of case that you can live with day in day out. You have really improved the look of the case while keeping the original feel of it.

I am not sure if its just my monitor, or your pictures, but the outside shots, the fans and front "line" look a bit red...?

The final shots are very impressive. I like the subtle contrast of the colors of fans and LEDs against the black case. Low key and classy. :thumb:

Exactly, that's what I went for.
    Thanks man!
    It's true.
The lightning wasn't optimal. That's why I am planning to do a proper photoshoot (glamourshots) later this week (or next week).

    Thanks.

    Thank you man!

Thanks for the comment, I simply LOVE your build. So inspiring.

    Thanks man!!

I'm just into fiddling around with some my Fractal R2 case, and I was just wondering how easy is it to change the LED for the power? Looking to go to white instead of blue.

    Really easy, here's a small step-by-step:

    1. Remove the front panel.
    2. On the top of the panel, you will see a few ports and switches, the powerswitch and power LED are in the middle.
    3. Unscrew the middle screw, pust the little plastic rod to the side, and take out the powerswicth (with the LED embedded)
    4. The LED is simply glued into the plexi-ring, with a little bit of force you can take the LED out.
    5. Unsolder the blue LED and replace it with your own 3mm LED.
    6. Glue the new LED in place with a tiny drop of clear glue, thats all.

Thanks for the reply, just ordered 5 prewired ones off ebay as they were the cheapest and the least quantity. Thanks for your help!

Are you going to be watercooling like in your concept?
