I'm soooo tempted to ask you to do something like that on the lid of my MSi GT 725 as I've scratched the corner of it but would love something involving Gatsu from Berserk on there. Given that Samus looks like Griffith. Sweedens a long way to ship a laptop though :p
[IMG] Just found this which is kinda cool!

    Out of slight curiosity.

A collegue of mine asked why i dont start doing some work for people who want it.

My question to you is would you want something engraved and what would you pay for it?

On second notes, Updates tomorrow as i woke up late today :wallbash:

The cake took me about 6 hours of work total i wouls think, its all because of the small amount of details, Something like samus which has more then 25-30 hours behind it isnt something i would start with.

Sorry about the lack of updates, been feeling a bit stressed and then there was midsummer here in sweden which consisted of lots and lots of drinking.

Only a small update to the machine has been done and that was 2 out of 6 2tb ecogreen drives being added.

Will try to get some updates out during the morning :)

Bought some .5mm aluminium today for the front of the case
(Still need to airbrush it with some special primer and black paint but i have that at home)

The issue is what to engrave!
I´m torn between Quistis or some other character , but i need some help with inspiration.
Anything within the size 20x40 (WxH) is highly appreciated.

Some lovely work there guys :D

Do you find you get better results from clamping the engraving drill in an adjustable clamp and moving the metal (I presume resulting in a more uniform depth) or by moving the drill by hand (I presume resulting in smoother curves)?
