I really like how you painted the GPU shroud blue (A great shade BTW) and the GPU cover looks awesome. You have planned the flow air flow path very well.

That alu cover looks great. That very thin edge bend is a really nice touch but it hurts my brain to think how you made that crease look so clean. :thumb:

I'd like to know this too, even with keeping the protective plastic on mine it all gets scratched up, I'll guess he cleans it up after working on each piece & if thats so I have to say incredible attention to presentation :).

:D The gpu shroud looks so much better in that nice blue, I should do that with mine, black, red & silver :waah: really doesn't fit in with my colour scheme :D.
Your metal work is so inspiring for me to get better at it, the gpu cover looks awesome :thumb:.

Nice hardware. Your P55 goodness makes me want to spend all my cash and upgrade my system.

I love the shroud for the gfx card. Looks very awesome.

Love your work on this so far, can't wait to see the finished case :thumb:

Also wanted to mention that is was the Cygnus X1 that convinced me I needed to get back into building my cases after a long boring stretch of unmodded laptops and all-in-one's, so thanks for the inspiration :dremel:

+rep for all your hard work.

Thanks voigts. :thumb: When cutting with the jigsaw, I always have masking tape on the
cutting side but it's not the case that the alu is free of scratches. To be sure I take care not
mark the surface but there are plenty of small scratches and scuffs. It's important not to
have any scratches that you can feel with your finger nail, these will need extensive sanding
    to get out.

    Thanks Mankz. :thumb:

    Thanks mate. :thumb:

Thanks skip. :thumb: The cover was bent with my home made brake but that small bend
required a bit more work. I could get a start with the brake but then the gap between the
two pieces of angle opened up and I couldn't bend any more so I attacked it with a block
of alu and a mallet. Not very elegant but did the trick. :hehe:

Thanks. :) I'm feeling better every day.

Just to keep things tidy. ;)

    Thanks. :)

Thanks mate. :thumb: True, some of the main pieces were sanded at the start but you just
have to take a little care to keep defects to a minimum.;)

    Thanks Robby. :thumb:

    Haha, thanks mate. :thumb:

    Thanks Craig. :thumb:

    Thanks. :)

Thanks, I'm happy that I could provide some inspiration. :)
Oh, and thanks for the rep.:thumb:

    Thank you.:)

It always seems to take me so long to catch up but every time I do I'm totally blown away! great job as always mate. Really cant wait to see how much of the wiring you manage to hide.

Oh man just read your posts in this log, me like. I also like how you do everything by hand, cutting, drilling and bending. Real craftsmanship.

One of my pet hates is to see a graphics card drooping due to it's size (insert euphemism here). Nice work matey!
