Case Mod - In Progress Acrylian 343B

Not been on for a while so i think its time for another build,this will take a while
The case is a Lian-Li 343B with a bit of acrylic here and there.

The Beast



Bits of acrylic





Got my trusty old scroll saw out and did a bit of cutting on some peices







Rad and fans in for a test fit (using a duff board and some spare green fans,these will be changed for some blue fans )



Rear panel cut out



Rear panel taped and ready to be cut



And cut



Added grills



Test fit,seems ok



Fitted





Also cut the bay bit for the grill

An excellent start skullen, I really like your internal plexi dividers, they look great. I like the first option for the front panel personally, the all white looks better then white and black. Although with the black fan grills it may look ok. What about everything white with just the grills and the buttons black instead of including the fan controller knobs as black?

 

I prefer the white too. Great start.
Since everibody is taking a chair I'll take one too ^^.

 

I assume due to the new rear panel lacking any expansion slots for PCI, PCI-E that this machine will be using integrated video, so on that bases we looking at a huge home server?

Water cooled server, for silence i would imagine.....

@ The boy 4rm oz i think im gonna go with the white,black grills and black knobs

@ Burnout21 On board graphics as im not that advanced in attacking a graphics card to add to the w/cooling,CPU and chipset will be w/cooled + 13 fans in total + three to cool the Ram.

Sorry for the lack of updates not much done to the case.
Will be ordering a few bits as i am gonna change the res for another idea.
Had a play on sketchup with what i hope will be the end design.

Facia with slats and acrylic

Facia will be turned upside down as will the tube,idea is to have two holes at the top one pluged the other for filling,the one,s on the back will have the middle pluged top hole for inlet bottom for outlet.
I hope it will work as i think it might look ok when finished.

Small update,not much im afraid.
Got some of my parts so i thought i would throw them in for a look before they get painted
The Aquaybay front will be ghanged for the grilled version,will be ordering it soon.

Sorry for the lack of updates build is going very slow at the mo
Treated myself to a new desk for when the beast is finished,nothing posh bit of ikea stuff and some stain



Done a bit more on the case,front panel bolted on these will be changed for black ones
Still gotta do cutouts for grills



Top also bolted on bolts will be changed for black ones also



Side panel on for test dont look to bad,gotta get the window cut out and filled with clear acrylic



Something like this so the window will be flush with the panel,but without the other bits beside it
