I was just pulled over doing 45 in a 25. All the cop had to say was "nice car" and let me drive away. Anyone else have any nice-cop stories?
no. I was going 21 over and got to pay the city $200. I was also the only one on the highway at the time besides the cop. He was a dick.
I once got caught doing 85 in a 50 zone, it was the ride home from the dealer in my brand new Suzuki Swift. I was fiddling with the radio and didnt mind the spedometer, and suddenly flashing lights were in my rear view mirror! Got pulled over, he told me that I had lost my license and that I would recieve a hefty nice fine, I was very controlled, and stated that I of course was sorry, but it was my own responsibility and that I had to take my penalty. Blah blah blah, he then says: "And we agree that you OBEY the speed limits from now on?!" - "Of course officer, this has been a real learning experience, admittedly not something I want to learn again, the hard way!"- "Alright, and you ONLY do 50 from now on home!" - "Yes, absolutely! How do we handle the paperwork, do I get the fine by mail?" - "This one is on the house - Merry Christmas!" I was speechless! But I could keep on enjoying my new car
Ever since I've moved to WI, I've blown by cops well over the speed limit... When I lived in Lafayette, IN (purdue's campus). I got pulled over for doing 35 in a 25, the same speed as other cars around me. The cop comments on my Z, flirts with my girlfriend and stares at her chest, jokes with me, and gives me a ticket. Dick.
I speed all the time (never more than 10 mph over) and I've never ever been pulled over. I guess I'm just lucky unlike you suckers
I've had two speeding tickets in my life, both within a year of each other. The first I was apparently doing 93 mph in a 65 zone outside a little town by the name of Wickenburg, AZ on my way to Las Vegas. It was on a severe downgradient and I wasn't really paying attention to the speedo and there was a cop waiting at the bottom. Luckily I didn't get criminal speeding and the cop only wrote me up as 80+. The second I was doing 45mph in a 45 zone however I didn't notice the rediculously obscure "Road Work" sign and got a ticket for that. The most annoying part was that I was running out late at night to get my grandfather a Christmas present so I could ship it to Canada in time.
