Hi, This is my first ever project and it started of with the following Case. The Lian Li A71 Side Pannel: W-75BT Top Pannel: T-713B The case was then sent to the power coater! As you can see the DVD drive has been stealthed and a custom fan controller has also been coated I then decided on the hardware CPU: Core I7 920 DO Stepping Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 Ram: Patriot Viper 6GB Graphics Card: ATI 5890 (Maybe eveb 2 if i can fit another rad in case) Sound Card: Asus Xonar D2X 7.1 PCI-Express Power Supply: Enermax Revolution 85+ (1050Watt) Hard Drive: SSD for OS and 2 x 500gb or 1tb in raid 1 for storage Cooling will be Water, but have not decided on the components yet. Problem is that i though a single 120.3 rad will be enough to watercool my beast, All Fans in case will be Enermax Clusters My Motherboard and braid arrived I sent of the PSU to be power coated as well, but due to the texture it had to be wetsprayed. The Ram arrived ] and my first bit of braiding
i kinda thought "Uh oh i wonder whats going to happen to this lian li" I must say im speechless i love the white just so nice!
Thanks guys noo in bristol we do power coating haha can't be bothered to edit post. Finally made the jump to the forums on bit tech . hopefully this project will pick up again, had a little stop for the summer but should get back on it soon
oh yeah... this should be real sweet haha. So far I really dig it! White is one of my personal favorite color choices. So clean an elegant. Do you plan to use lighting?
bought some thumbscrew....why did nobody tell me Lian Li uses there own threading . Could not use the Thumb screws that I bought. but instead i will be sending off my silver (21 of them) tomorrow to be anodiosed blue. Also send of some mesh that will cover the tripple rad to be sprayed white . Pictures of the goods tomorrow
Cheers guys hopefully update soon. Got a very nice idea to do with this sound card that hopefully I'll be ordering soon!
