I like it, looks like the SG-05 chubby but cute cousin. Not entirely keen on the PSU placement but still, if I was going to build an mITX rig I'd definitely be looking into this chassis.

So would you recomend this over the SG07?

I have been considering grabbing myself a LanPC for a while now and this was the case that I had wanted.

How would you get around the HDD cage issue? ie where did you mount it on your build?

    Good artical. Cheers guys.

Does anyone know if Lian-Li has plans to update this case so longer PSUs would fit?

Of course you could remove both hard drive caddies and just use a 3.5->5.25in mount for your hard drive.

Yes, you won't have a DVD drive, but seriously, how often do need one? Since I can install W7 from USB, and almost all my main games are Steam based... I'd just use a USB drive for the very odd occasion I DO need it.

It's a Go For Gold X series Seasonic PSU, right? ;D

That one barely needs a filter - the fan is redundant 99% of the time.

I expect the A colour is "anodised".

If you do not have a high PSU requirement, you could use a smaller SFX PSU, and use one of those SFX-to-ATX mounting brackets, it can free up some space inside the case.

next version with outer mount points for water cooling radiator PLEASE!
Think this case with a Monsta rad mounted on it's side (along the length of the case.)
Would be a full over-clock in a LAN box.....

"(look for the B suffix for our black version, R for red and, weirdly, A for silver)"

"I expect the A colour is "anodised"."

I would have thought it was Aluminium.

Nice little case, is it me or does the PSU not have a vent for its fan?

Would be nice if someone could find a short modular psu - or one with right angle leads?

The black one is black-anodised aluminium - same with the red, but red. So the A for silver may come from Ag, the atomic representation of silver.

Made me giggle, it's true I've not heard or seen my fan turn on in my PSU which is both awesome and unnerving.

Question for harry: Did you test with a 150mm long PSU? I was just wondering cause it would make a good NAS/Sims box, NAS for me and Sims for sister. I have a Corsair HX450 sitting on my old case so I'd like to use that instead of buying a new PSU, is that fine with both drive bays?

Pffft, mounting points. Get creative man! Take a look at my sig, I'm using this case for a watercooled loop!

Glad a review finally went up on this! Been waiting for the BT review for ages!

complaining that a large power supply doesnt have quite enough room in a small form factor case for mATX mobos is like asking why you cant fit a V12 engine into a mini.

I think the reason for complaining is that there's so many good Mini-ITX motherboard that you can use for high end gear so you don't need a full fat ATX board for a high end gaming rig if you aren't planning on overclocking so that long PSU could come in handy.

Excellent. I've been waiting for a review on this case for awhile. I didn't think the PSU would be an issue, but I guess I'll have to be more careful in my choice if I expect to be using the upper drive bay.

Is it that rare to find a shorter modular PSU?
