    Great sponsorship MaG
Very nice the light effect and also the color on the Slotin !!!
I am curious... where did you install the leds to light up the slot, both on the upper and lower side?
How did you fix the plexy to the chassis?!

    Ciao :thumb:

The LED are only on the lower side.

I use some superglue to hold the Plexi in Place.
After the glue dry I also use some polyester resin on the edges.

To hold the "lighted push-button plate" in place I use 10mm platte. Used but effectual.

The inner plate. White for a brighter surface behind the "lighted push-button plate"

With 4 bolts it cant go anywhere...

For the switching I glue some 4,3mm push-buttons with polyester resin in place.

To connect the LED and the buttons I use an old part from a broken Mainbord.

    Done.

On the inner side i use e pin-and-socket connector toconnect the "lighted push-button plate". -> Easy to remove. :D
    [IMG]

This sis the inner view. Again I use some superglue and polyester resin on the edges to hold the things in place.

This USB connector is also from a old Mainbord.

Nearly done. Just some more precision work precisely.

Nice to see old parts being reused. I like the look of this project so far. I look forward to seeing more.

To fix the USB stuff I use a plate, big enough to offer a sufficient "glue-area"

The opening is big enough to push the connector from the back in th eplexi.

Not only the connectors get some hot glue
    [IMG]

And after the sleeving.... more glue.

Another important detail are the case-feet.

To get a nice thickness, I need two 10mm parts.

    Here just a short preview:

By the way: The final feet get a better machining.

To cut the side panaels I use my new saw station.

    The cuts become perfectly straght.

The long side I cut freehand.
From my point of view it's a pretty good job. :D
    [IMG]

    Done
    [IMG]

    Again some LED.

    And with less light.

    UPDATE:

Noting to explain. The opening is here.

This grille will look great after the painting
    [IMG]

    Some other important parts:

I think the hose system will do a good job.

And some putty for the radiator bolts.
