Hmm, my 3 systems have been busy as well, guess I should step up the pace on my new build (or get that other GTX285 installed in one of them). Out side temps pushing 100F (~38C) not helping much either.
Yea, my AC has been working overtime and not realy keeping my room cool (no idea why couldnt have anything to do with the 2 OC'ed i7's) One of my systems is in the back room with no ac, so have been watching the temps on that one and had to drop the cpu back down to stock settings (the hotest core is sitting around 60c (QX9650) at stock settings) the GPU is watercooled on that system so it's actually running cooler then the cpu lol. (didnt feel like pulling the water block off that card when I put it in so just poped in a spare rad and pump )
I would love to watercool this rig, though money is holding me back The temps over here are just outside temps, inside is about 20c, keeping my i7 with h50 @ 60c and my 460 at 55c 55% fan speed. Kinda happy with that Kinda insane temps on the 9650 btw, 60c at stock speed?
Thats with the room setting at, at least 38c and the cpu load at 100% for a few days... I might need to reseat or change the tim on that fhs though.. the cpu isn't watercooled....though I do have and H50 setting in the corner...hmm.
I would get the h50 on it, 38c ambient is kinda high... And if noise isnt a problem you should go for push pull ultra kaze 3k fans
