Jackie Stewart was my mum's dad's cousin, so that makes him my 3rd cousin, twice removed (?) or something stupid like that

Richard O'brien used to reside up the posh end of the Village we lived in...
I served Nigel Lawson when I used to work at the Waitrose off-license...
I've had a beer with John DeLancie... And also watched him fend off some scary stalker woman.
I've also sat next to Paddy Ashdown on the train.

    That's about it.

Oh - and managed to blag Jonah Lomu's autograph on my restraunt bill, as he was sat on the table next to me and Mrs GOO.

I don't think someone living in the same village as you is your claim to fame :p If so, Sami Hypiaa used to live in the same village as me, and Craig Bellamy still does. And Steven Gerrard was looking at houses in the village I live in. All ***** though.

    The legendary

Many (many) moons ago when I worked in McDonalds, I served Bob Monkhouse when he came in.

I also sat on the train from London to York next to that old dear who does the Laddette's to Ladies thing a few years back. She was very nice, in and old, posh lady sort of way.

Clinton Rogers (local BBC News) buys his computers, or gets them repaired at the shop I work in. We've spoken and shook hands. The Taunton BBC Broadcasting House is around the corner from the shop.

That's about enough fame for me :grr: Out of rich and famous, the rich factor is so much more important ;)

David Watkins is my Dad's Cousin. He does the special effects for films/TV (Alien, Empire Strikes Back, Dexter) I've only met him once when I was still in school (so a good 15-20 years ago now). He came over again a year or two ago, but I missed him, as I was in work when he called round.

I've also been in the audience a few times for Satellite City.

I think my only claim to fame is getting to hold Custom PC's Dream PC award from 2006 :D I was delighted by that.

Met Andrew Tinkler, the CEO for the Stobart Group (Eddie Stobart wagons). Just a normal person with a sense of humour really, except he has a real eye for business. Amazing what an empire he has now.
