While Lian-Li finish is world-class if you really want proper case which is modular and will serve for a decade or two then there is only Mountian Mods. Horizontal motherboards & extended UFO/Ascension Cheesecake! Don't get me wrong. Used many L-L cases, loved them to bits... until I first tried MM. Price is a stumbling block if you live anywhere outside USA, but it is worth every single cent.

Just like Motas above said, don't bother with e-mailing/contacting Lian-Li. They will never respond, unlike Mountain Mods. Usually less than 12h (depending on Time Zone).

Flngers66: Google Translator is your friend, but honestly German text brings nothing new and all data is pretty straightforward. Anyway Caseking.de is great shop for Lian-Li.

BTW: If you thinking about buying MM case be aware that many Lian-Li modules (primarly HDD cages) are not fully compatible.

This makes me want to buy a Lian Li case. I hope you're getting ad revenue for this, Bit-Tech...

Except the fact that they look bloody awful and are unnecessary for 99.999999% of people.

I feel bad about taking a jigsaw to both my lian li cases now...

My v1000b was near mint when i got it 2nd hand, and i only went and put a f-ing big 120.2mm rad grill in the roof and side panel.

My PC-70 was in bad condition when i got it, shown it some loving with a jigsaw again for the better, but still feel bad.

This thread is getting a bit wierd now, people are showing a little too much physical affection for their Lian Li cases...

(says the jealous non-Lian Li case owner)

    :D

I was expecting a larger factory. It's funny to see these places, thanks for these factory tour articles!

And I guess MM deserves some kudos for taking a different approach at cases. That said, I would never, never, ever take, let alone buy, a port-a-potty sized case that's full of holes and in general looks just.. shabby.

One thing I notice by its absence is any sort of design department, even if it is just one bloke with a drawing board. Do they do this in-house or is it contracted out?.

    Same with my X2000 :)

I hope you bowed down in reception and did a few "we're not worthy's"

I still have every Lian Li case I've bought, and they're all still perfectly fine. The build quality of every Lian Li case I've owned has been flawless. I think I'll always use Lian Li. I occasionally see other cases in reviews when I'm about to build a new rig and consider it.. but when I come to place the order, I always switch back to Lian Li, and never once regretted it.
