Case Mod - In Progress Data Switch External HDD Build

    I needed an external HDD for college, so I decided to take an old parallel data switch and mod it into a sweet external Hard drive. Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of what an original data switch so here's a link of what it looks like now:

    Nice One! I had no idea those old cages were aluminum. I will be on the lookout for one now.
    This would look even sweeter with some 1/16" plexiglas inserts in the recessed areas.

    Wow this is sweet

    I have an old Mac IIci I've been thinking of turning into a NAS/Home server. I think it still works, looks like brand new inside. I need to test it out again it might be too good to mod.
