have started doign the intel progress through processors thing and its given me the distributed computing bug and so i want to start folding.:thumb:

the only thing is i dont know how:sigh:... i probably wont get much ppd but every little helps right?

i have 2 computers id use.. my i7 machine specced:
    core i7 920 at stock 2.66Ghz
    6GB ram
    5770 1GB

    and my laptop:

    core 2 duo T5750 at 2Ghz
    3GB ram
    ATI mobility radeon hd2400

so yeah what should i download and run on each machine, and how do i set it up???

i might also add other family members computers in at a later date but only after ive mastered it on my own machines.

    thanks in advance,

Have you thought about overclocking your i7. 3.8GHz is quite easily achievable with a Titan Fenrir, and will net you a good amount of PPD.

Oh and welcome to the family by the way....

    Fold on!

If you can afford to switch to a GTX 460. It pretty much destroys the 5770 for ppd and rivals it for gaming performance.
