I am thinking of doing an OCZ Revodrive. The reason being is because of the speed and I like where the drive would be placed. I still have not seen much information out there if the revodrive impacts the speed of two GPUs in SLI. The first two PCI-e slots for the R3E motherboard are at X16 each. The revodrive needs a X4 slot but can work in higher X8 or X16 slots. No sata wires for two SSDs. No power wires for two SSDs. I would only have to wire in one HDD for storage 2TB or 1TB drive.

 

I am not normally a fan of branded mods and I am not a real bike enthusiast....

But damn is this shaping up to be something awesome, the dremel work is great and the choice of colours is brilliant.

I can't wait to see you get the watercooling on the cards. I am happy to say I was wrong to dislike branded mods

My BluRay Drive needed to be painted so I put some before and after pictures.



The LG label needed to be removed and painted.



The grey from the Case of the DVD/BR drive can be seen as well.

 

I finally got some LEDs in the mail so I started to wire them up for the side panel.



I also got some plexiglass but I didnt find any orange.
I had to get an orange film and put it on the plexi.
I then spray painted the back of the glass so the orange would come thru better.

 

Its hard to get the right light and get a good shot with my camera. My camera has seen its last days but it still turns on. So I use what I have.

The LED looks okay but I may change it...Im not sure yet.

 

I decided that I will change the wiring on the lights. I need to clean it up a bit.

 

Still looks damn good though

Got a new OCZ Revodrive X2 240 GB drive.
The drive works great and I was glad it was simple to install.

Then I purchased a new motherboard (ASUS Rampage III Formula).
I purchased another GTX 470 SC. I purchased the Corsair H70 CPU cooler.
