It's about time a multiplayer game came out that you can play without getting sniped in the first minute of the game.

 

It's an issue with the installer. Boot in safe mode and it's fine. Both me and my brother had the same issue on different pc's on different connections.

 

Hmm, from what I can tell this game is improved and expanded version of Blitz1941. Beta was great fun, but B1941 died before reaching final product level. Looks like someone resurrected the idea. I need to evaluate this project. He, he

 

quite sad, but this game has it's own snipers. i mean SPG (artillery). they are really annoying and they do "headshot" you on your respawn point if you are unlucky.

 

Only if you get spotted by scouts and sit in the open - part of the game is avoiding the artillery, especially if you're a heavy. It can be annoying sometimes, but that's how it goes in all games really.

 

It did this for me too. I opened the task manager to see what was eating the CPU, and Microsoft Security Essentials was to blame. Uninstalled that (no disable option? Daaaaamn.) and bingo, no hang at all.

 

Dammit, why is it only 5.05pm and why do I have so many CPC proofs on my desk... I want to play WoT

 

CPC is a harsh mistress.

Did you get out of the tiny tank phase? That's the suckiest bit.

 

Don't like it here just get my ass handed to me in mostly one shot from people who have a top heavy tank and its like I can run and hide in a 15mph top speed light tank. Needs way better game matching before I return to play it, something like light tanks etc.

 

Well what tank were you pwned in? You shouldn't be sent to a battle you can't do anything in, although the lowest tiers are distinctly crap once you get out of the rookie battle arenas.

 

Me three, thou' it is only the realtime scanner part of MSE that is causing the issue. You can turn it off for the install, once installed delete the installer and don't forget to turn it back on again.

To Turn Off -> Open MSE -> Settings Tab -> Real-Time-Protection Tab -> Uncheck Turn on RealTime Protection.

 

How are you supposed to gain tiers? Im using the valentine tank and it seems there are no resarched upgrades to install and i dont have enough money for a new tank, im very confused and don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated

 

The tanks bought with gold fall outside the normal way of things - they're supposed to be credit-farming tanks because their repair costs are so low.

Buy the first tank you can afford and work your way up from there.

 

Which type of battle should i be working up in? Training?

 

You should only play in recruit battles if you have a tier 1 or tier 2 vehicle otherwise you'll get owned by far more powerful enemies.

 

Just press the big battle button at the top, the game will sort you out.

 

Played a few games last night and had a blast. I'm looking forward to playing it again tonight!
