They do go through you just have to get angry lol. They can take some pulling, I got bored of trying to get them in and just yanked it, which did the trick.

one thing I have noticed is that the shiny coating makes the fan slightly thicker than normal so you may have trouble with clip in mounts such as on the front of fractal designs.

 

Its so shiny, I don't want to abuse it I used fairly thick copper wire to hold it on.
The thermal probe seems to be working, I reckon the fan's spinning faster now (I've put it near my somewhat awful 60C graphics card). I suppose it took the case a while to get up to temperature, the fan's now pushing out hot air.

Thanks so much Nitrix! Got my fan yesterday (silver 120mm) and will hopefully have a play with it this weekend. Haven't decided if it will be the exhaust fan or my CPU cooler. The LEDs look like they'll be great though, far too many companies use the cheap oldskool ones embedded in the frame, but the strip around the centre is much better! I'll get some pics done when I get the chance as well.

Managed to get my sister to drop the mysterious box over today (as since winning, I've moved back to uni ).

Anyways, it was a large box, and I thought "awww pants, I've got the t-shirt".

Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to find an Enermax 120mm fan, which fyi - looks awesome when you've got the LEDs lit up. in fact it looks like some sort of vortex!.

Additionally, you've cruelly included your catalogue - which means I'll be reading it until late and having geeky-wet-dreams....

I won't be able to put any orders in too soon as since I'm back at uni for my final year - I've gotta concentrate on my studies rather than any WC-mods etc. However, I do hope that in the summer I'll be able to finish my Antec 300 mod. Which iirc I called "Red Seduction" or something to that effect .

When I do get around to doing that mod - I'll be getting quite a few parts, as I'll probably go all out on a new WC setup..... however - I shouldn't spend money I don't have (even theoretically) so we'll see where I am next year.....

Just thought I'd pop in here, as I got one of these fans free with my Enermax Revolution 85+ PSU(I think it's the same fan, very simular if it's not), and it's a great little fan. Very quiet, lots of air through put. One bad point is, the LED's are super-super-super bright and seeing as I had mine on the back of my case, which faces me, it had to be turned off for fear of blindness. One point, who though of the flashing mode? Why oh why would anyone want this?

As I said, didn't get one from Aquatuning, but these guy's have been great to me, so I owe them
