Modding useful old fan "mod"

    if your short on cash and want a cooler p.c,do what i did,i found my old cpu fan,took the fan off of the heatsink and used little ties to tie it to the air hole over my cpu fan,pluged it into the motherboard,it use to run at (cpu)53-57c and the system was about 47c,it now runs at (cpu)47-50c and (system)40-43c,not much but still :thumb: helps if your fans not from an old win98 pentium 4 p.c lol oh and my p.c is low profile so keep that in mind,still works long as you have air holes tho.

    not everybody thinks of using an old fan,people who are just starting to really want to mod might not know you can take the fan off...

    My old AMD cooler fan is currently sitting on top of the south-bridge of my Q6600/ASUS P5K-E combo... :D
