Windows Call Of Duty: Black Ops (trailer up)

Haven't recieved mine early

 

As far as I know Australia got retail copies unlocked first and steam downloads will be later.
I guess it will be the same here.Maybe I'll check some stores on my way from work, gonna finish at 11pm anyway and cancel my steam preorder.

 

Australia are playing now, but they have censored versions like the germans HA!

 

Seems a sensible option, makes no difference to me tbh would only have played an hour or so tonight anyways, i'll get up early and get fragging.

People are going mental about it on the forums but then steam forums are always flame central.

One thing that WOULD jarate me off is if I had the retail version sat in my sweaty palm now, and couldn't even play the SP because of steam.

This whole retail/digital release thing is starting to get a bit complicated. For example anyone who has purchased from direct to drive will have to wait until after the steam release to receive their STEAM unlock code.

Is it just me or is there a massive conflict of interest there?

But it's like when you get dumped and start listening to depressing music and you just get more depressed.

My heart is broken again. Steam has locked my game for no reason except for punishing me.
Whilst writing - I turn over to my Black Ops and a tear drops - Steam has finally broken me.

I can wait no longer.

I too got mine this morning, but as you've read my diary above - it will unlock in approx. 11 hours. And it seems only Aussies are able to play it atm (guess they have they're own US-timezone-independent Steam)

 

Am i the only one who gets dropped from the server every time i get a 3KD+ game going? Seems kind of fishy.

 

Try getting a gunner and mowing them down on nuketown

 

How's that going to help my connection problem /shifty admins?

 

Anyone getting any performance issues? I keep experiencing stuttering and freezes.

 

Lag is quite common at the moment, lots of people getting it

 

This isn't even lag.... it's a .... something. I haven't seen it in any other game.

I'm not gonna touch it until the patch is out or there is some workaround. I think it might be a memory leak or CPU issue.

 

It's a stats server issue, I'm sure there running round trying to fix it

 

Damn it, i'm having to reinstall because I keep getting a "Couldn't load image '~$Black-rStone...'" error message. Seems like Treyarch need to seriously get some patching done.

On another note: I love how you can gib arms + legs off with nades in SP!
