    Didn't MSI do a bunch of single slot ATI cards too?

    This will suit me quite nicely as a pyhsics card,

    My current setup is 2 x gtx 285's and 1 gtx 260 for physics i also have a creative fatality sound card so no slots left on my Asus rampage II mobo.

    Was thinking about upgrading to a pair of new gtx 580's (just waiting on bit techs review and verdict first)

    So this would give me a needed spare slot.

    Your right i did not spot that....i remember them doing the same with a single slot gtx260 a while back.

    so just googled it a found this http://www.galaxytech.com/en/newsview.aspx?id=254 it shows the single slot gtx 260 again with no sli fingers, but if you read down the page claims it can be used in three way sli.

    Seems a bit odd but maybe the finished product will have them fitted will have to wait and see, still a pretty good idea though.

    What's the point in making a single slot card like this... anything you put in the slot under it will completely restrict airflow to the GPU rendering it's single slot design useless.

    SLI works without a bridge...
    BUT 3-SLI is not supported at all, according to EVGA.

    Anyone else notice that the fan is at the "wrong" end of the card, so ALL of the hot air goes straight into the case, most likely against any other airflow? I know there's not really room on the back for an air vent, but even so!

    who are you calling old? my 8800GT is still going strong :rock:

    I'm glad to see a powerful card with a singleslot cooler since I was considering an i3 ITX build. Problem is I am going to use more than 2 monitors so an AMD 6850 would still be a better choice.

    Interesting card - hope it cools better than my single slot 4850 and the 8800GT. Was hitting 90+ on temps with the 4850, even though it was a great value card.
