Build Advice In-van PC

    i`ve been looking in building a pc or my van and was wondering if i could use a double din head unit as my screen

    this one i fancy

    as you can see from the photo below it has a video imput can i use this to hook up the pc to the head unit?

    i`m also fitting an amp. is there a way i can get audio from the pc and head unit to the amp so i can chose with system i listen to music on

    This is possible to do. However, I'd take a look at the CarPC section of the Kustom PC forums, or car audio forums. If you watch on YouTube, Steve Meade has a very clean car PC install, on his forum there is a thread on that, there should be lots of pics which should make how he did it much clearer.

    had a look on the kustom web site but they seemed to be attached to a retailer so i didnt thin they`d like me posing ebay links

    dont like the look of that head unit as it has rubbish connections.

    ideally you want a screen with a better res than 480x232 and have a VGA output
