    Inspired, inspired me to go kitchen raiding for some strawberry creme cheesecake & mince pies. I think i'll try and get some of those all butter M&S pies tomorrow :) Thankage.

    No offerings from Morrisons?

    I like their deep filled 'best off' mince pies. Bit pricey though something like1.59 for 4

    We don't even have Mince Pie over here in holland,

    would love to try do and now i know the best one thanks bit-tech now only find a friend in the UK that wants to send one over :)

    Last Christmas my American wife made mince pies for the first time, and they were the best I'd ever had! She used a thick, buttery shortcake crust all over, with plenty of egg and sugar caramelised on top. She just used a fairly standard mince filling from a jar - I can't remember where from, but it was no luxury offering. The end result, though, was incredible and I'm trying to get her to replicate them this year.

    LOL I just overdosed off morrisons minced pies last night :lol:, feel a bit crappy now but mod on I will :D.
    I like the look of the iced ones, one of those & a good coffee & I'd be nicely hyped up all day to mod :rock::D.

    COSTCO's mince pies will put all these tiny things to shame. They won't run CRYSIS though

    Here's an idea for you: stop buying it. Look upon the world in a new light as your drawers/shelves stop filling up with, let's face it, 65% direct advertising, 30% indirect advertising and 5% readers letters.

    I picked up two boxes of Mr Kipling the other day... of course, I'll need a 2nd pass to be sure... but overall, I think i'm disappointed. I've had 6-for-50p mince pies that had more ZING

    My kichen cupboards are full of mince pies right now, they we're brought back from a do, must be close to 100 of them in tins, wrapped in foil or still in original packaging.
