I realized the plate between motherboard and power supply, so I'm posting photos :)

In this picture we see the plate with holes plots for passing the cables of the power supply:

Before drilling the grooves, I first cut corners in order to fully integrate the plate in the structure.

Then with a hole saw and a drill press I drilled the ends of the grooves.
Information for the hole saw is 20mm in diameter.

Here is the plate once all the ends of grooves drilled:

To complete the grooves I used a jigsaw and I finished off everything with lime. ;)

Then I hollowed out a portion of the plate above the hard disk so that warm air can rise
and does not stagnate in low heating discs. I will fill the hole with the grate to keep
    a certain aesthetic. :D
    [IMG]

And here's the result in the structure :) :

I wanted to show you something,
I did several tests on the placement of hard drives that gave me a lot of trouble. :)

That the first trial: conventional cooling not optimal but correct
except I do not like for two reasons,
    • I find the aesthetics tempered
    • and the airflow was cut

The second test was to put the hard drive down (in the compartment of the power supply),
stack of two cooled down and the cables were hidden and it does not cut the flow.
However ventilation operated only on the two hard disk located in the down position,
while the other two were not cooled.

Then by guarding the low position, I moved fans behind hard drives so they blow directly on controller cards. :)

Then I finally placed hard drive in vertical position to evacuate the warm air upward:

I bought this morning, the aluminum fence for supporting hard disk and the grid. Here are the pictures:

I received my package from Fedex from Arctic Cooling yesterday (I want to thank them for their kindness)
    Then I'll post the photos,:)

    It contained:
    • Freezer 13 for processor
    • an Accelero Xtreme 5870
    • 2 Arctic F8
    • 2 Arctic F12
    • a memory cooling kit Arctic RC PRO

    A small group photo: :)

The fans, they are beautiful, matt white and black as I wanted: :D
    [IMG]

The Freezer 13 equipped with a 92mm fan, small but powerful: ;)

The Accelero Xtreme 5870, with three 92mm fans:

And finally, the memory cooler Artcic RC PRO
I had already seen in some PC and I found the twisted fins very aesthetic
in addition it avoids adding a fan memory ... :)

Another big thank to Arctic Cooling for their support and their great products. :) :)

I have not advanced much recently because I was in the search for a sheet metal folding bench
and I found last evening is therefore the work should resume soon. :)

Just for information, the PPE have "really" started at school ... :D (I must admit I expected this time!)

Otherwise I would like to thank Aquatuning for their seriousness and professionalism and for their support for my project. :)

There have been a little progress, I realized the bottom plate where is the power supply. :)

The first operation was to cut corners to integrate fully into the structure.
I was forced to grow because the welds angles prevented me from coming to flower in the square tube.
Then certainly it is not very attractive at first sight but then, I hide it all with a kind of putty:)

Some pictures of the plate incorporated into the structure:

Then I realized the hole below the power supply because I will put the fan down
because hot air rises and the fan is placed in aspiration. :)

As usual: drilling two holes to pass the blade of the jigsaw.

Then cut, and finally work with lime since, as shown in the photo below, the cut is far from perfect :D
    [IMG]

And here is the result in the structure: :)

The next step is the realization of the plate in the bottom, it will be fixed the two 120mm fans.
    :)

Then, anti-vibration mountings kit for fans:

Extension 24pin ATX and the CPU sheathed Phobya to look pretty
and it also save me too much pull on the cables and do them well go where I want :D

Tanks for your comment Fedmas ;)

As promised, I'll post pictures of sheet metal separating hard drives/power supply cables. :)

    Sheet metal cutting with shears.
Incidentally, thank you to my uncle for the shear and bending bench;)

Then pointing the holes pass cables:

And drilling with a hole saw, still 20mm in diameter.

Then I folded the sheet before completing the grooves, so that the grooves do not weaken. :)

Then once the folded sheet, I could finish the central groove with a jigsaw.

And finally, folding, cutting and finition.

And the pictures with the sheet and the power supply in the structure: :)

It remains only to drill the holes of the two 120mm fans and the sheet is completed.
    :) :)

Thank you for your comment Fedmas, it makes me really happy. :):):)

I enjoyed the of sun yesterday to finish the plate!
So first step, tracing the scrap.

Then cut with a jigsaw, I have not made complete circles because the plate was too fragile.
So I left 5mm at the top and at the bottom of the plate ...

Then to make the holes, I placed my fans on the sheet and I marked the locations with a good marking tool. :)
Then drilling and here is the result:

After I realized the anti-vibration base of the power supply in a rubber sheet of 2mm thick.:)

Cutting pieces of 150mm * 160mm in the roll:

And finally, that is the result: :)

So much for this weekend! :)

Micro update the sheet of the upside: :)

I have drilled two holes for the 140mm Fractal fans:

And presto, the photos in the tower: ;)

As can be seen on the rear plate, there are two holes that took place
It is the location of the two switches for the neons.

    Next Maj. :
The realization of the hard disk support, fairly substantial, normally scheduled for the weekend!
