    Greetings!
Thought so. But it could also be a GTX 460 768MB...

Nice review. This card looks just right.

The only problem with the review was Mr Strawberry's FPS skillz lol

I love the fact they've brought the ti branding back. It brings back nice, warm, fuzzy memories of my trusty GeForce4 Ti 4200 and it's lovely AGP goodness.

    560Ti vs 6950 1Gb
In French, but graphs are universal ;)

so from the way i read the review for a 2560x1440 screen i should be aiming at a 6950 2Gb rather than this card? is that the right way to go?

yeah larger memory would probably suit you better at that resolution

Ah cheers, never seen those. Humm not much point upgrading for me then yet . £200 notes for a extra 7-10 fps pointless

I must admit to not noticing those myself.

Actually useful in so much my GTX 285 wouldn't be far behind this card in that one game at least. It still looks like a great card with all the DX11 bells and whistles though.

The idea is that for the same price of a GTX580 I can get two of these, but based on thermals and power figures (and especially noise) it seems that the 560Ti would be a viable alternative and "smart" alternative for someone who can't shell out for two cards at once, but can happily upgrade in a few months - especially if the card creeps towards the magic $200 flat price. I currently have a 280 GTX which is by far the slowest/oldest component on my desktop and while a single 560Ti will be probably 40% faster ... the fairly low power consumption figures mean that I could run two on my current 620 watt PSU.

    I like the card.
I don't like the return of the pointless suffix.

Gee....Who's really surprised that BT slapped this card with an "excellent" award?

Maybe because it is an excellent card?

Notice, my question wasn't "why did this card get an excellent award?" So.....

I am surprised (if I read the conclusion correctly) that they feel that a 6950 2gb isn't competitive (perhaps better) than this card unless it's unlocked.

a 6950 costs anything between £230 and £260, the 560 is around £200 so is better value,

an unlocked 6950 might be better value
