Being Human is awesome! Better than the US counterpart from what I've seen Primeval is ok, a bit weak at times but certainly watchable Doctor Who is starting up again soonish and there's going to be another season of Torchwood at some point as well Misfits was a good watch when it was on and Inbetweeners is a good show Quite a few there, I'll let you take your pick
great sitcom! defo recommended to anyone have not seen it. i'm currently watching: US: -How I met your mother -Big Bang theory -Chuck Cartoon: -Simpsons -rewatching all Futurama (please be more seasons) -American Dad and Family Guy British: -Episodes (it's okay, not great) -Not Going Out (fantastic sitcom, recommended) -Hustle notice any trend? sitcoms
In no particular order: Big Bang Theory How I met your Mother House Fringe The IT Crowd 24 (when there's really nothgin else) Lie to me (similar to 24) Top Gear Doctor Who Torchwood (when that starts again) Supernatural True Blood A lot of them need some SERIOUS catching up on my part again...
Being Human I haven't seen, but I'll give you that. Primeval is family Saturday night nonsense, just like Merlin. Doctor Who and Torchwood are obvious, although Torchwood is gonna be a practically US show this year. Misfits is alright, but hardly great television and Inbetweeners is just the sex and drugs of Skins, but without any plot at all. Channel 4/E4's output has been far too tween focussed for ages. So that's 3 good UK shows. Wow.
How has no-one mentioned Modern Family? It is a fantastic show! I laugh out loud frequently during each episode. Also, +1 for House and Dexter (although the last few eps of the latest season were very disappointing) Arrested Development I have just got into (shame it was cancelled way back when though) Supernatural I would agree with, but True Blood?! Shame on you!
I really wanted to love the gadget show... Actually I used to, but then I realized that I knew more about most of the products that they were reviewing/testing than they did It's still a good show with all the fun demos and stuff that they do - and lets face it, I'd watch Suzi Perry watching paint dry - never mind playing with the latest and greatest gadgets and technology
Especially in that catsuit. Mrow! Aye, sometimes it's quite off base but most of the time it's a good laugh.
I can't get into How I Met Your Mother at all. The premise is clever, but that freaking laugh track and the 100s of one-liners from NPH..
I concur, it's watchable but I suppose I expect it to be funny. It seems to be trying too hard. Maybe it's only the half a dozen or so episodes I've seen and the rest are brilliant, I don't know but there's certainly far better stuff on the goggle box.
Legen....wait for it.....dary! I love that show and I find the mix of humour and more serious topics makes for a great show. It's had it's weak points, but is currently enjoying a wonderful season. And NPH is one of the main reasons to watch IMO.
I'm not one for TV generally, but recently I've just had the first 3 seasons of The Big Bang Theory on loop. So much of my life is in that show, and I don't even know why!
Hustle's on in 5 minutes. yay ! Good show if I miss an episode I catch up on I-player, I often surf with the tv on in the background.
For about the 6th time since it was aired, Everything & Nothing with Jim Al Khalili OBE. There's one on iPlayer now iirc.
