    Hey guys, with he resent announce of pre-order availability for Portal 2, many ppl got excited (including me ofc) for the posibility of the finally release of Half Life 2: Episode 3.

    I wonder how many of you havent give Half Life 2 a chance maybe because you passed the oportunity or maybe you think its to late to catch up the story and the game but somehow feel interested about it??

    Pls share your thoughts:D

    Im slowly working my way through half life one. I tried HL2 with the orange box but didn't really feel I was grasping the story. Unfortunately I'm not loving HL, but figure I need to get through it to enjoy HL2

    I have played HL2, but thats it. Might give Ep1 a whirl tonight.

    Since Ep2 was just on the midweek madness sale, me and a friend think:

    a) It's the typical "move old stock out before new stock comes in" play by Valve for Ep3.

    or

    b) They're rubbing it in people's faces because so many people are complaining about no sign of Ep3.

    Definitely do. Episode 1 is more fun and Episode 2 is even better! I hope you picked up EP2 at some point.

    Well number 1 won't count. AS there is nothing physical. Steam can sell one game or ten thousand games.
    I say they are just building the hype up.
    I bought the pack for something like 4 euro on steam.

    I havnt actually played HL. I've played HL2 and all episodes though... I should do that at some point... :lol:

    I've played through the HL2 series. Started HL but didn't finish it for some reason, i'm fairly sure I was quite a way through it as well.
    Oh well I hardly ever complete games, looking just at my CD/DVD collection less than 25% completed :sigh:

    Half-Life 2 is such a greatly made game. It's one of a rare club that I actually have gone all the way to completion on single player. Might even reinstall it again one day to play yet again. I tend to play games on multiplayer now days and complete part of the single player campaign just to get the atmosphere and controls of the game.

    never actually completed HL2, but I adore ep.1 and 2 and have comleted both several times over.

    Come to think of it, I might not have completed opposing force either. I know I got near the end,can't remember if I actually finished though
