I saw the hollywood version at the cinema yesterday, it was alright I guess. Think I jumped once because I wasn't paying attention and some dramatic sound played very loudly. Other points it was quite funny, Not really scary though and the characters were quite irritating. Plus some bits which didn't make any sense. As for it's title of the scariest movie of the year, well, ROFLMAO, .
well i have the originals sat in my changer & they whip thehollywod version arse ring, ring 2, ring 0 got them all from amazon & i knew they would spoil the movie if they made a hollywood version
i saw it last night aswell (with rtt) and i must say it was a quality film, not scary to watch, but thinkin about it afterwards freaked me a bit. the film really got me, i was workin bits and all the time and im still tryin to figure out other bits now, i must see theoriginals now!
they do for maximum effect you need to watch them one after another in ths order ring ring 2 ring 0 (the last oen they made)
are the originals in english?? cos when I looked at amazon it said sound track was japenese with english subtitles.
The subtitles are white. Ring 2 is mostly set in white rooms. Ring 2's actors mostly wear white clothes. Ring 2 makes knob-all sense the first few times you watch it. *n
ok ok...i jus got back from seeing the film. Im my opinion pretty good, aint seen the original but i am considering watching it. One thing tho...can someone please explain to me about the little girl cos the film left me confused about things. How the hell can a dead girl create a tape that kills people? How come that lady, Rachel i think, didnt die in the end? Please sum1 explain this 2 me...i h8 seeing a film and not fully understanding the ending Thankz
teh tape is the anger & rage of the girl materialised into solid form, her will is what is likkign people & if it is lie the original if you make a copy & show the tape to someone theat makes it so you are not under the curser anymore i hate this, the american one is pants, nothing can beat the original

oh i love my japanese originals you do realise unfrtunately now the originals are gonna be harder to get hold of s the great unwashed will not have heared of the original or have nay interest in seeing it any move that is based on another move should have ti in big letters at the begining this movie is a complete remake so therefore will nto be as good as...............
A lot of people seem to think the Korean version is best, but is very difficult to get hold of. Hollywood have been rehashing Japanese stuff for ages. Yojimbo and Seven Samurai anyone? Not like it's a bad thing, I'm just saying.
