time for a little update....

like promised we changed the color of our little 490 from black to orange....it´s not finished...but on the best way...so here are 2 pics we made during the painting process....(more to come in the next days)





and the reservoir is also finished and polished

 

WoW, looking good so far!

 

Gets better and better! Love the top vents, I can still tell it's a 600t and that's an achievement in itself!

what stops the res from leaking? after all you've drilled straight through the side of it and stuck a shaft in the hole. Am i missing something here?

 

The shaft is fixed, isn't it? The actual paddles are connected to a transparent tube sleeved over the red shaft. If the shaft is fixed in place presumably it's been sealed with glue.

 

It's great to see this case shrinking side of modding when done perfect & I bet it's a fair modding challenge to do to this level of perfection, nice paint job too excellent work guys .

 

This is an amazing mod! Very nice to see an ITX version of this case. Maybe it'll get Corsair's attention

In my mind , if you have taken a bicolor , it would have been better . However ,I also like orange and it's a great job

yeah, i know what you mean, we already decided that we´re going to add a nice airbrushed detail to the sidepanel without the window...



After 6 weeks with nearly no progress, today we got an update!!!

But first i want to send a big Thank you!!! to Aqua Tuning for their support & help
Because, yesterday we got the needed watercooling parts for this mod, so that we finally can continue




Today we started with the midplate which we already had prepared, we had to make a few cuts, so that we can place the Pump inside the cover, beside that we also mounted the Radiator in the Front of the Case and tested where we´re going to mount the Reservoir.

 

Amazing fab work on the case......beautiful paintjob......killer water cooling setup.......



....why such pathetic HW

as addition to the orange/black color scheme we added a first airbrush onto the right sidepanel...







beside that, we added another piece of metal to the midplate before we could paint it....

 

Sweet paint job & saaaweeeeet angry bullet .
