a GTX 580 overclocked by 100 MHz shipped with Crysis 2. That's my guess.......

Lets face it, inside the box there is a sheet of paper, with the word 'BLUFF' written across it in green crayon. And what's with the fail attempt at an 'ammo box'. I swear to all the ****ing gods if this is another piece of crap military themed hardware in the shape of ANYTHING stupid, I will buy one and smash it the **** up on YouTube just for the sake of expressing my EXTREME dislike for such products.

 

The box contains a GTX590 sticker, duck tape and Stimorol chewing gum for sticking two GTX580's together.

 

Yeah, I'd settle for the AMD marketing guy as well. One less BS'er world make the world a better place!

 

From the vid it should be epic, not just a 590 or 2 580's slapped together.

 

I'm glad Nvidia is turning out a dual GPU card. Dual GPU's have come a long way since SLI/Crossfire first came about and a lot of the complaints against them need to get with the times, incompatability with games is far less common now. If it lets companies get more performance into the box them more power to them!

Also nice to have a dual-GPU on the green team. Now there's something to compare to so people don't start pulling out the pointless "But it's not single-GPU so it doesn't count" argument when looking at 6990 benchmarks. They still offer a certain performance at a certain price, and being on one card doesn't mean you can't compare it to two cards in SLI/CF.

Judging by the size of the box it's either the biggest card yet, extremely fragile, or comes bundled with around 50 games. Lets hope it's the latter!

No way will it be the 600 series..

 

The box seems shorter and squatter than I'd expect for the 'early-prototype' GTX590 pictures that are all over the web. But the screens behind seem to show something with an axial fan. So ... it's the rumoured dual GPU GTX590 with specs as above, but with mighty improved cooler.
