Hi guys, I'm Mauro from Italy.

This is my first worklog on Bit-Tech...a project with a TJ07 case. With this case we see a lot of beautiful projects but I want to do something different.
I hope that you like this my project.

I'm sorry for my English :sigh:

    Hardware:
    Case: TJ07 Black
    PSU: Corsair AX1200
    MB: Asus Maximus Formula X38
    CPU: Intel Q6600 @3.2 Ghz
    RAM: 4Gb HyperX 8500
    GPU: XFX 8800 GTX
    HDD1: WD Raptor 74Gb
    HDD2: WD Caviar 500 Gb
    HDD3: WD Caviar blue 1Tb

    Watercooling:
    WB CPU: Ybris Black Sun
WB GPU: Ybris Black Sun GPU
    Radiator: Phobya G-Changer 420
Fan: Noiseblocker BlacksilentPRO PK3 140 mm
Pump: Laing 500 with top Aquacover DDC
    Reservoir: Phobya Balancer 150
Fan controller: Aquacomputer Aquaero 5 pro

I want to start from PSU, that needs of a little introduction.

Well ... with the PSU I want to do something strange, I want to put it in the front of the case going to occupy two bay. I believe that in this mode will have several advantages.

    1) More space for the radiator in the lower part of the case, without interfering with the PSU.
    2) With the frontal PSU, the cables is very shorts for mother board and peripherals.
    3) :D not now...next update.

For the PSU, I made this box.

    And PSU in the box

    Looks like a great start.

As a side note, I've always wondered why more case manufacturers don't use frontal space to reduce the size of cases, when most people have 1 or 2 5.25" devices at most, and probably 3 HDDs at most.

    Ciao Mino and thanks!

Hi Kid... I'm glad you like.
The box of PSU, like all the case, will painted black. Only some particulars like tubes, sleeving and other stuff will white color.
    Thanks :)

:) Thanks Silent_Raider, thanks for compliments...and for welcome.

This box I made it in the company where work with a laser machine and industrial bender, following by other metal parts that i show you in the next upgrade.

I love this placement... the psu cable supply will directly connected on plug of psu with three cables without plug...all with sleeving.
Yes the box is made with galv steel (0.8 mm thick) and cutting with laser :thumb:

    Thanks! I'm glad you like.

    Thanks dear for attention :)
    Thanks to all!!

The metal sheets that you see, will make to supporting for the motherboard, radiator, fan, tank, pump and other stuff.

I did this because of the TJ07 I really like the characteristic of being able to remove the motherboard tray for maintenance and / or cleaning... but if I go to insert a liquid cooling circuit, I can't more use this features because the radiator is fixed to case with the tubes.

So I think to made a support for remove the entire plant.

Assembled and inserted in the case.

Thanks Mino, you are very kind.

So...I show you the last upgrade.
Assembling the metal sheets, I noticed the little errors...holes off-axis of the radiator and other details that led me to redo the sheet metal.
This is the new support...nearly equal.

    Some details.

This is a piece of plexi 10mm of thick, I need for isolate the radiator zone.

And for fixed this fittings for water.
This plexi is only for a try because after I will use white plexi.
Now all the structure is very strong with the plexi.

I have removed the pci support from the original tray of TJ07 to fix it on my new support.

Unfortunately when I did the hole in the plexi I did not notice the space :duh:

Amazing work. I would love for you to make me a case just like this. Are you going to be painting everything black? If so, i think that it would make it look much better.

For to insert the PSU I should cut the original supports of the front peripherals. I did not like the idea and so i made other metal sheets
This metal sheets supporting only for 5 bay...still is sufficient for me.
