I looked at the notes, then at my arm and have come to the conclusion.

    FOR CHAOS!

Is it just me who's first thought was ARG when they saw this? It seems far too much like a rabbit hole waiting for someone to fall down...

    Isn't is obvious?

He's just made a hard-copy of all his serial keys,

wouldn't want the FBI to think he was using unlicensed software!

It would be nice to have a higher resolution image. Some of the letters are really hard to read and blur out when you zoom in. Great way of asking for help, FBI.

I jest :D But seriously, why is the FBI so interested in this? I sense my tax dollars going into this and I am not a happy tax slave, er tax payer...

    EDIT: Never mind... MURDER, naturally

It's not so much murder that is motivating the FBI (the codes were done by the victim) but more so the fact that they haven't been able to crack it in eleven years. The notes are probably just nothing.

Looks a lil like the shorthand a classmate of mine used to write. Not really a code but just the first letter of a word so he remembers the whole sentence. Never understood how he did it but for him it was a normal thing to do in class.
Kinda like those people who remember stuff by building a mind castle and filling it with objects they associate with words.
I am really not good at stuff like this, cant even solve sudoku.

Yea, in school we where taught songs, I always remembered the tune but not the words or meaning behind it. Same with acronym's I always remember what they related to not what they actually meant >.>
