Super Meat boy require 4-19!? it's addictive but also rage-quit-worthy. and The Ball: All at once get: 89 health, 233 distance from the ball, 26:37 minutes, 3 monkeys killed, 2 deaths, 13 monsters killed and 5 secrets.
Getting to chapter 4 on SMB will probably take a good few hours, it takes a while to get used to the controls of that game (at least it did for me) and requires a lot of patience. Using a 360 controller if you have one definitely helps though, I find it much easier than using a KB+M. According to my profile I have 8 potatoes thus far, I'll work on getting a few more tomorrow. The above link also suggests an early Monday morning release although it seems to be decreasing all the time so we may see it on Sunday Edit: scratch that, it seems to vary quite a bit, but still indicates a Monday release.
Well, Wonderful end of the World has been completed, which means the Launch has been pulled forwards by 50 minutes (Not a bad amount of time, TBH) Nice to see the Potatoes I'm working my ass off for have some use, though. :3

OK, I did pre-order Portal 2 at Game, but now i'm glad they said "no obligation to buy"... chance of an early release, a free copy of Portal 1, and now this?! 1 more Steam pre-order here, fellas!
Scratch that, apparently that's a myth. Although, according to RPS you need to actually be playing the game (or at least producing keystrokes) for the time to count.
I have to look at valve and admire their style... There is NO guarantee this game will release early, but yet they have a huge amount of people slavering trying to get a few hours (if any) early play time. Seems the world has really turned into a "sooner me than you" place Anyway, I am watching the soap opera, I have P2 pre-ordered and pre-loaded, but the shenanigans involved I dont have time for. When does marketing become more important than product??? I do hope portal 2 is worth the wait and ARG games. Chris
So do I. In fairness they're just teasing us into buying these indie games and filling the weekend with ridiculous amounts of playtime.
We have the choice of being cynical about it and wondering if we're being played for fools by Valve, or we can just observe it for the fun meta-game and hype-fest that it is; and one that means lots of sales for a number of indie development companies. I haven't taken part in the potatofest, but I'm choosing the latter and enjoying the build-up. I hope the game lives up to the hype, too; but I'm a bit of a Valve fanboy anyway so I'm confident that it'll be enjoyable.

Anyone else noticed that the achievements for Portal 2 are now displayed in Steam? Some of them sound hilarious.
My preorder is not due till the 26th or the 29th. Which is perfect cause I have vacation from the 2nd of may to the 10th. Patience is a virtue guys.... I like to think back to getting the orange box and portal was in there, I was like "what is this cheap-o looking game?" and didnt play it for months. It was a golden nugget in disguise Valve is a clever bitch IMO, they are making bank on this release... What would be epic is if they tied this into HL:ep 3 somehow at the end.
