    never thought picking a keyboard would be so hard lol not sure if i want mechanical or not due to the increased noise but some of them look very nice

    there are only a couple of switch types that are excessively noisy and they are less common. if theres a few boards you're trying to decide between one of us may be familiar and be able to give you any pros and cons between them.

    The Deck Legend tactile beats all of these keyboards IMO, I know I love mine and will never own another keyboard in my life.

    looks like another good option for those that were interested in the backlit style.

    true but for the price I'm willing to pay I dont think I'll be able to get a good mechanical keyboard, just gona pick up a logitech g110 I think

    ok, but i think you'll be buying another keyboard in a year or two. if your budget is tight and you can live without the led eye candy or don't mind getting a bag of leds and diy, theres several mechanicals at that cost or less. all of them use the same cherry mx switches, which are far superior to any membrane keyboard quality. and abs plastic is same more or less so not much of a quality concern there either.

    zibals should be out within the month and will cost approx $150. they won't be louder than a 'standard' keyboard as it has mx black switch, which is silent. same as the black widow.
    theres also another new backlit mechanical coming soon, the ducky shine. release is unknown as is price atm.
