I'd recommend the Corsair 400W, Corsair 450w and the Corsair 650w.... The systems i have built them with have withstood mild to heavy overclocks for well over a year now, and the stability is amazing. But its a shame i cant find many of these anymore 650W Etasis with 4x6pin PCI-E. This bad boy has been in my system for almost 4 years!! and its done mild overclocks, heavier overclocks, its been in rooms at 11 degrees C and in rooms that have nearly been at 28 degrees C... If anyone knows if their in stock still, i think id recommend that bad boy... but it doesnt have 6+2pin pci-e, which is a shame, but can probs handle it if there were adaptors for them. But i still think corsairs build quality, however missing modular on the smaller wattage power supplies deserves big recognition... they look mean, they weigh quite heavily (which usually dictates if the power supply is going to be awesome) and give plenty 'o' juice to those needy systems.

Well yet again I can recommend the Enermax Revolution 850 but it's definitely not for someone on a tight budget lol, at £165 for the 850 watt version it's extremely expensive but stable and worth the money. No issues so far (don't expect any either for that amount of cash!)
My OCZ ModXStream-Pro 600W Modular just snuffed itself out with a 'pop' and the oh so familiar smell of burnt electronics : ( Was less than 4 months old too. Luckily it didn’t take the rest of the PC with it! Anyone know what OCZ's RMA is like? Don’t fancy shipping it to Germany and having to wait over 9000 days…
Well, my OCZ ATV flash drive snuffed it too, also less than 4 months old... if you get good results from RMA tell me, if not - I wont bother
Wow, that sucks! I've never heard of problems with them before. Isn't that a Seasonic manufactured unit? Were you running the hardware in your sig?
My friend's Corsair unit seems to be dying after just a year's usage. The entire PC failed and one of the HDDs was completely borked but the PC can't get through Vista setup on the other HDD and the Mouse and Keyboard cut out sometimes. There's been issues before with power supply to the graphics cards. All very odd.
Interesting reading, I'm confused though. On page one the List states Q4 2009 Corsair good, then HX620 do not buy, then in the list it gives it 3Stars. I've had no probs at all from either my HX1000 or HX620 both running 24/7 and Folding for approx 12 months now. I can only recommend them as reliable and stable under varying conditions. Oh and keep up the good work!
Another point for Seasonic, They use Sanyo Denki Fan with Sony Bearing made in japan. Maybe the most riliable fan bearing ever made.
Fractal Design PSUs... any opinions, btw, the XFX PSU and some new seasonics... keep the recommendations coming
