I got barked at for releasing these too early, but then got told it was OK so here we are again: It'll be shown off in more detail at Computex in two weeks Sorry for losing all the replies before. I did just soft-delete the thread with the idea of undoing it but it seems to have disappeared totally
well, here we go again then: I wish more manufacturers did boards like this. Once there's some cash floating in my pocket again, this might just replace my M3G.
i'll take one! ... oh wait, you actually want paying for it ... never mind then on a more serious note, it looks good, it's nice to see someone make decent mATX boards, if i were to go down the SB + mATX road I'd seriously consider that...
Nice pics! The Gene-series trully are feature-filled package if you're limited to dual gfx and mini cases. I've got my R2G for almost 2yrs now. Might get another Gene if ever I do decide to upgrade.
Still waiting for this board to be release so I can order up the rest of my rig. Everything currently sitting in my saved basket on Scan. Any ideas when its coming?
If it runs as good as the old ones I'll be the happiest man alive. Looks damn good and wrl laid out Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
I'm going to order mine as soon as there's availability where i live. I was told that it could be aquired starting next week.
Hmmm, on a sidenote, I was just wondering why doesn't the more "premium" and expensive Asus Maximus IV Extreme/Extreme-Z feature some of the stuff on this mini ATX ROG mobo? The Xi-Fi and gamefirst are some I can see right from the bat.
Target market. GENE is squarely aimed at gamers, but has upgraded OC support, while Extreme is aimed at OCers (ProbeIT, LN2 modes etc) but also has multi-GPU support.
