    If they managed to hack Sony's ISP too then perhaps it's an asia problem using all that old hardware from the 80's and norton internet security, lol

    You say that but I was talking with a guy from my fencing club who works at Symantec (who make Norton) and he aid he was working with Sony right now.

    Apparently the PSN problem was just poor password policy.

    it is bad though, make you think would cloud computing be secure enough? With all the details in one location (some server in the sky).

    Originally the problem does seem to have been caused because of poor password policy, though this could have been easily rectified and they could have updated their code to add encryption and then forced a reset on everyones passwords. With the ISP servers being hacked too, surely this points to other security weaknesses too?
