    Remove all RAM modules.
Look in the manual for using 1 RAM module, and install it correctly. Turn on the PC. If it works, turn it off, add another RAM module, and repeat for every RAM sticks you have. 1 by 1.

Of course, this assumes that your GPU has proper power, same for your motherboard (don't forget the 6 or 8-pin ATX connector)

Power issue or shorting somewhere is usually the problem.

8pin and 24pin are both in correctly? Same with PCI-E?

Tried powering it outside the case?

    Have you overtightened the cooler?

Ive tried with one module and confirmed all power cables are in place, even reseated the cpu and took out my venomous x-rt and used the stock cooler. Hit the power button just to see the board flash a red light and nothing happens

If the Pro is anything like my Evo, there will be a light on the motherboard telling you exactly what the problem is!

    TSB

EDIT: Yup! Check 2.2.6 of your manual. If it's none of those; then consider a short. Also, feel free to try with no graphics card installed and just run with SB onboard while you troubleshoot!

Also, you didn't mention CPU cooler, is the header for this plugged in the correct place?

Other things to try: Remove the GPU completely, and put it back. Does it work now?
How about you use the other DVI port? Try on a different PCI-E 16X plug, does it work now?
And just to rule out the GPU as a problem, can you try a different GPU, or try your GPU on a different system?

I know it's a bit silly, but if we can rule out the GPU, than that would simplify many things.
Oh, Do you ave a tV-Tuner or sound card, or anything plug to the other PCI or PCI-E splot? If so, remove them, it could be that the card is faulty and prevents a success boot.

Run with onboard processor graphics and take it out the case to make sure nothing is shorting. Also try another plug socket or power cable even if you can - eliminate every power link.

Since Socket 775 Intel uses pins on the board. Did you attach a PC Speaker to the board ?

No, there are no pins on the CPU, i said that. What you describe happened to me 2 days ago when i was swapping the board from Gigabyte to Asus, and the reason was that i forgot to connect the EPS (4/8-pin) connector to the board. But if you say that you checked that, then i'm out of ideas.
