Think you will be safe for a while, I cant afford to fold 24x7 and I'm going away on holiday soon so there will be a big blank nothing for a while from me :(

Also gonna have to slow down with summer coming along, its getting waaay to hot in here for my liking.

Should make a good appearance throughout winter tho, hopefully will be building a new media PC on a i7 2600k and will have it doing bigadv 24x7 all winter.

Just made the 8 million mark today! It's still slow progress but I'm slugging away for 10 Mil. My new hardware configuration is making a difference for sure even though I'm not running it all just yet ;)

I'll also be in team position 85 before midday tomorrow, which as far as I can remember will be the highest team position I have held in my 6 years of folding :thumb:

Chugged thru 25 million earlier this week whereupon two machines fell over - obviously, over-exuberant celebrating which I frown upon :D

    Recently broke 100k :D.

Although it may seem like small time points to the rest of you F@H giants, I think I'm not doing too badly, averaging about 11k ppd. Hopefully will boost that up when I get round to putting on my heatsink and OC'ing my 2500k.

Just ordered my zalman GTX 470 cooler, so i should get this in time for the weekend to fit this up and hopefully get my precision unit on-line for folding.

If I do get this going 24/7 then i would be looking at 19k ppd from this rig :D

Im also gonna sneak a new GPU into a redundant PC here to up things a little more, maybe a 560 if i can wangle it :D

    :lol::lol:

Given the terminology in your sentance , i believe you to be 128.5 years old? :D (its the petrol bit that gives it away :D)

Mind you, i have a Fiat 500 hire care at the moment, and it cost £ 45 to fill it up and you get 500 miles a tank :jawdrop:

Beats my old Hilux which was £ 100 to fill up and get 400 miles to a tank :wallbash:

When I started driving in 1976, petrol was 45p a gallon (4.54 litres) then went up in a few weeks to 68p. I am not quite 128.5 years old, but 'our lass' could well be - I dare not ask!:naughty:

OK hows this for an upgrade ??

I have installed my Zalman cooler for a GTX 470. It used to fold on the refernce cooler at 89 degress........yes thats hot... :(

The same card with the Zalman cooler on now folding at 70 degrees with the fans on minimum!! :D

fans at what i can only say as 50 % folding at 63 degrees.

Here's the best bit :eyebrow: at 100% folding at 60 degrees :rock::thumb::clap:

THATS A 29 DEGREE DROP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jawdrop:

Guys if you were ever considering one of these for any GPU........FFS BUY IT!!!

    Peace out :p
