Sounds an awesome competition to me. Used Asus mobos since socket 775. Always found them high on features and quality. Bios has always been easy to navigate and overclocking has been solid too.
Currently using a P8P67 Pro (tho i need to swop it for the new revision) has performed very well with my 2600k.

    Haha, a classic ploy.

Probably open to everyone, just the caveat is you must be able to get to London on the 30th, otherwise your wasting yours and everyone else's time.

Can't really justify the planetickets and the day off work if I win!

But good luck to those who have the opportunity! :thumb:

seems like a kind of ironic prize. you basically complain to a company about flaws in their hardware so they reward you with the very hardware you complain about.

Good why of doing market research. I'm sure £2000 of hardware freebies is cheaper than any other method.

sounds realy kl. wont enter though cus of work and stuff. but wouldent it be kl if for instence the second socket on that new motherboard from computex, was a slot for a graphics chip rather than a cpu chip so you can use on board ram thats around the sockett (with mabe ddr 6 thats not to far around the corner ?) for the gpu, no bottlenecks from pci speed as it will be on the board. you could use beasty coolers aswell and have as much ram as u could shake a stick at and then if future graphics chips come out you can just swap them out. and you would just use the on board monitor connector to hook up screens.then be able to over clock the tits out of it in the new flashy r.o.g bios rather than a 3rd party software. an idea some where along the lines of that lol may need to be explained a little deeper. ASUS ive copy writed my idea so pay me up lmao (jokes) sounds like a good idea ?

oh snap, why the 18 years old age limit? This is what I dream of every night and day! Meet engineers, use engineer stuff, play with hardware, get hardware...what if I promise to be good and not freak out at the sight of computing power?

p.s. :Written on an ASUS laptop
