I see I'm against the grain here,
Loved the battlefront games, both KOTORs, Empire at War space battles were a nice change from the norm. Enjoyed Force Unleashed, haven't played the 2nd. Recently got the remade Monkey Islands, such classics.
Really wish they made a Batlefront 3 though.

+2 to the space fighter games.

I played XvT and the add-on to absolute death. Yay Tie Defenders!

Love to hear Lucasfilm admit the same about what they do.
Lucasarts need to give Star Wars a rest for 5 mins. I really have no love for Star Wars.

Please remake Day Of the Tenticle like you have for Monkey Island, and maybe even a new Indiana Jones?

Not really, but I'm contemplating installing one of their adventures I got off STEAM. Although I just might dig out my CD copy of Grim Fandango... :thumb:

The two KOTOR games were amazing, I hope that's not what they're referring to here. They need to stop messing about with MMOs and get on with making the next one, IMO. They also need to stop harassing devs into releasing early, as that ruined KOTOR II, which would otherwise have been one of the best games I've ever played. I'd go as far as to say the KOTOR spin-off universe is better than that of the films.

You do realize that neither of those games was created by LucasArts?

The first one was by BioWare and the second one by Obsidian, if memory serves me right.

Completely disagree. Imo the Old Republic games were the best addition to the Star Wars universe ever made, whereas the games and novels set around the original films just became increasingly lame over time. On the other hand the Clone Wars did suck.

Star Wars Galaxies had some major potential that SOE and Lucasarts right royally messed up. The MMO game dynamic was by far the best made and better than any WOW clone to date..... Then they thought that the WOW system was the way to go.

Really hope that Bioware are making this half as good as the original SWG and Lucasarts keep there grubby mitts of the game.

For me back in the old days - in developing adventure games Lucasarts were in there prime!. I think the moral here is to stop making just Star Ward games and invent new franchises and titles with original stories.

Fate of Atlantis remake anyone? :)

"We havn't always made good games"

Factually the statement is correct but it worngly makes you think that the good games must have been recent and the crap games a long time ago, but actually it is the other way around.

    Some good Lucas Arts games...

    Fate Of Atlantis
    Manic Mansion
    Monkey Island 1 & 2
    Day Of The Tenticle
    Sam & Max

And the most recent must be 15 years old, Lucas Arts, you suck.

God bless the good old Lucas Arts adventure team, whatever happend to them???

And George Lucas will do anything for cash, what a scumbag.
Anyone seen the Indiana Jones and Darth Vader adverts on TV atm?
    Disgusting.
