They probably don't have the insurance to cover under 18 year old public in the venue they will be using hence the age restriction.

possibly the most exciting event of the year, those new gaming laptop's sound exciting, its that area I feel all companies like asus should develop more, portable pc gaming via a high spec laptop with hdmi 1080p output would knock the socks of console's, sadly, with todays prices for mobile chipsets still high, a high spec gaming laptop cost's upwards of £1,200, you would get 2/3 times the performance if you spent that on a desktop machine, can Asus bridge that performance gap ?, I would like to see a gaming laptop with 1080p hdmi capable graphics gameplay and an upgradable gpu socket, with a fairly modest cost of £5/600for a mid range gpu, like a 560m, make an sli version for £200 more to appeal to the hardcore, and it would sell by the bucketload, so Asus, cheaper gaming lappies with an upgradable gpu socket would be nice please.

-Hard as hell to write a contract involving minors...
Anyway, I'm obviously not going, so I'll post here.
Lock down a series of GPU form factors so we can reuse waterblocks.

Yes it's a Thursday but take the damn day off work. It's worth it! Anybody that went to the similar event in 2009 will agree with me. Don't know if it'll be the same this time but at that event we had a proper meal with drinks, an awesome presentation, playing with stuff and got awesome prizes to take home. And some of us stayed for drinks after.

Get your thinking caps on and enter this. It'll be awesome

Because if they said where it is everyone would come along anyway - even if they didn't win

Thanks for all your entries; my inbox has been flooded with suggestions over the last two weeks.

We've now selected the lucky 20 readers who'll get invited to the event later this month, so please keep an eye on your inbox, for an email from my colleague Jemma Ryan, over the next couple of days for your invite.

    I won, now what? (Update!)

My name got pulled out of the hat to go to London for the ASUS OCing Summit.

However, I think I'll be running into a transportation problem.

Somehow, I do not believe we can simply drive across the Atlantic.

Wife and I are laughing about it right now. I have all the time in the world to go, but I would have to figure out some kind of flight and everything.

We've not given up yet, but this is pretty funny. I never win anything, now I won big and I'm not sure how I'll get there. That'll teach me to enter on a whim.

I'd like it if they just shipped me the hardware, but I'm sure they'll just pass on my invite.

I can't leave my son while he's in the hospital. I'd never forgive myself.

Double post, but this one's too good to pass up.

Just found out without a repaired aorta, I'm not allowed to fly. (Or mountain climb, lol.)

    Yay terminal illness!

Dual C32 or G34 board like the SR-2. I owned two separate overclockable ASUS Socket F boards, and one MSI. Now I have a quad socket F Arima.

Some of us DO pay for the stuff.

Damn, looks like you deserve a free gift if you spent that much on those!

    Nice suggestion though
