great case, love it! i have a suggestion for the "power to the switch" issue, why dont you simply solder cables from the psu cable to the trafo for the switch? then as soon as you connect your powercable to the "hole in the wall" you will also have your switch up and running, and because the switch is in the case, open up both switch and psu and solder the cables on the inside. i think that would be a good solution. =)

then you can ofcourse hide the switch psu, maybe behind mb-tray? (should not need very much space without it's shell)

can write in swedish if it helps =P

    Thanks!

I have thought about it, but I got Enermax Revolution 85+ 1250W, which is not a cheap PSU, and I don't want to experiment to much with it :p

If I am going to make it possible to power the switch by the computers PSU, I guess I will use a switch (like in latching button, not network switch) to switch between external power and internal power, if you know what I mean. But for now I will just use the normal power cord and trafo to power the network switch.

Thanks for the help anyway! :)

    Thanks for the comments! :)

MiNiMaL_FuSS, a lot of people have told me to do that, but unfortunately, I don't have the time and effort to do that right now.

I finished the case two days ago, but the upcomming week is full of exams, so the next update will probably have to wait until the week after that. Sorry about the waiting :/

Have you decided on the switches yet?
I see two options: using a double switch (one button - two connectors) or (maybe a cleaner solution) modding the 12V feed to the network hub so it can fit in a standard 4-pin psu connector.. Or am I repeating earlier comments (I have authors posts only turned on..)?

I ended up using the switch (network) the regular way, using the cord it came with.

Thanks, the exams went really well! :)

I believe the end of this build is near... Here are some more pictures:

Hope you have enjoyed reading this worklog! If you wonder about something, feel free to ask!

(I will probably upload a video of the case in not too long, but it is pretty much done now)

Now I have to thank my sponsors for helping me out on this build. Thanks for all the support I have got from you! You have made this a lot easier for me! :thumb:
