This + your choice of case. The i5 should surpass the X6 for your needs. Particularly in gaming. Can also achieve massive OCs. If you did go with the SG07 you may be able to use the PSU that comes with it as it seems to be OK. Tis 80 Plus Certified at least. Edit: Doh! Realised you already had hard drives. Just remove the Spinpoint I added then.
completely agree with Jaybles on his build, unless you want to wait and see if bulldozer is any good, but for everyday needs and gaming your better of going for a sandy bridge build, also if you drop the cpu cooler down a bit, gelid tranquilo or something similar and obviously you already have a hard drive you should have enough for a 64Gb SSD possibly also was that a case custom painted/modded by TTL(Tom Logan)?

Sure was Mate To Jaybles and bagman, I really like the SG07, its small, compact and has a good 600w PSU. IF you guys say i5 is the better option for gaming, will stick with that then, been seeing alot of people rate them very highly 560ti the Best card for the money then you think? I always preferred Nvidia but I'm told ATI is the best bang for buck at the moment?
Pretty much just go with whatever they're saying for the most part. You can always opt for a Z68 chipset if you so desire but the P67 tends to be cheaper. I don't know about the 4GBv8GB though, because even I use about 2GB due to all the crap I have running.
deffo go for a decent psu like a seasonic or a corsair. i would go for corsair gold series only due to them being fully modular which makes them much easier to keep pretty in a m-atx build. think the lowest they do is a ax650 which is £113 air flow is very important in smaller cases and less wires=better airflow+nicer looking interior if a mild overclock is required then i would just use the stock heatsink to reduce costs but does depend on the silicon lottery you enter
The equivalent AMD card would probably be the 6950 which is considerably more. For your resolution the 560 Ti is where its at.
From what I have read the unit that comes with the silverstone is a good job, 600w 80 plus cert, Im pretty adept at cable tidying so I dont see that being an issue given some of the builds I have seen.
