    YOU must build it.
    Keep the rad.:D
    I thought I was done...

I did some fluffing of the piggy.

Is it obligatory that the cup holder gets turned into a reservoir yet? I also added some height to accent the odd shape.

The insides show some issues with gpus and rad fans. I guess 120mm fans might fit. The HDs are removed through a panel in the back.

Nice design, very 50's. Pink cadillac, and it makes me think of those old jukebox (I'd damn like having one).

Maybe some beige leather here and there :thumb:

A door coin as start button would be awesome

I live your design a lot.

    Something like this ? :naughty:

It still needs some adjustment. But I think it can work.

Highpoint Rocketraid card has a per drive led activity header. I'll check if it is available on all cards. I'm wondering if LSI or Adaptec have this feature too.

EDIT : Or something like that

Can be hidden under the HDD bay and still uses gear + worm gear for an effort less opening. Which one do you like the most ?

:thumb: definately the 1st option i like the gears :) with a side window showing the movement of course for just that extra little bling factor:rock:

With the gears method have you thought of taking it 1 step further? make the stepped motor with a dual action button with a secondry vertival movement.

1st position: brings the door down to access the drives.
2nd position: brings the door down so you can see the screen then moves it up so the drives are covered but can still see the display ;)

If i wasnt at work I would quickly show you what i mean on sketchup but this pc is a celeron and doesnt like sketchup (yes i tired):naughty:

thanks for the info on the raid cards Guille, just wish i had the time to do a quick sketchup of this case too....hmmm day off tomorrrow.....

    Little update :

Been working on the bigmuthafu Rad (thx Razer for the name :naughty:). I'll be using threaded quick disconnect coupling (the male ones connected to the back side of the top Rad / the female ones connected to the Rad).

I still have to model the adjustable connector that will allow the female connector to horizontally translate to easily connect them to the male one (the same way than adjustable SLI connectors).

The 2 white / grey tubes are nickel plated copper tubes that connects the bottom part to the top rad (Who said I do not like tubing in the middle of the case :lol:).

I'm wondering if I should leave the tod rad channel visible (via the ACETAL plexi cover) or if I should make a plain ACETAL cover (maybe it would be cleaner and more workstation like).

I would leave the top channel visable, with some uv coolant it could show :D of the channels nicely

Nice work on the raditators gonna take a lot of work to make that and a lot of copper too

Gawd! That would be a nightmare to bleed. -I should know. I've been running bloo for months with an air pocket in the cpu block.
Acetal? Why not transparent aluminum? -Or uranium glass?

Apparently there is a transparent aluminium being invented. however it only becomes transparent under a certain type of light and reverts back to normal quickly :(

The hole here is for PSU intake.

    sideview

bottom-view - as you can see it has 2x480 rads,3x GTX295, 2 custom mounted res'.

here you can see psu and hdd compartment, optical drive is optional ;)

if you're asking how that comes apart, here is it - lift top, top then stays on opened position, since there is a hinge on rear. Then you can open the front.

    last one showing back.

Sorry for this rather long post, im kinda dumb and left the final touches be, so if i'll make it to the 30, i probably will touch it up.

@Korben - Whoa! dude. There's some freaky optical illusions going on with the faceplate. Placement of the fins makes the center look offset. -That's kinda cool.
Like the little stabby bits coming off the back too.
The loop setup has some issues, but this is about the case design so F it.:D

    @Mankz - If I remember, I'll PM you next time.:lol:

Almost final entry :D. I made a few modifications and changed the Rad holding for a cooling dock.

The dock hold the rad and you place the case on the dock (thanks to "rolls"), secure lock it and plug the quick disconnect plugs at the back).

I have to make some adjustment on the front door opening system and to add I/O and fill port

    Here are the pics :

Air makes it so easier to breath than water, so I'm going for aircooling (that made no sence whatsoever). A case for two friends to drag (carrying probably not possible) to a lan party, a two in one computer.

I'm uploading this now if I can't come up with a better look for the back of the case, it's a bit too flat atm. If I do come up with at better look I will try and fix that to tomorrow.

Not sure if building a case like this would be practical, but I didn't see anything in the rules about the case having to be practical (or even possible) anyway. ;)

The Front and sides (Saving bandwith by joining some pics)

    Top and bottom
    [IMG]

Side panel(s) open, other side of the case works the same
    [IMG]

    Practical? Who cares?
