Multi Latest Steam & General Gaming Bargains: Read first post!

STEAM is backup and convenience for me, but as a collector I like to have my favourite games on disc.

 

Well you have 6 minutes to decide, looks like some of the offers over run the switch time.

 

I think I'm going to pass this time around. It's bound to turn up again at another sale.

Must admit, it took quite some will power not to log in and buy...

 

If anyone wants to go halves on the Frozen Synapse - 2 pack - for £5 each, let me know.

 

Yeah, Christmas I expect if not before.

Wish I had that will power, just purchased the two Fallout New Vegas DLCs!

Trine for €2 is a bargain. Go get it! Absolutely gorgeous visuals, charming gameplay, beautiful music.
New Vegas down from €50 to €15 is decent, but I didn't really enjoy FO3 so I'm going to pass on that.
Alpha Protocol is tempting at a fiver, but I'll probably still give it a miss..
Doom complete pack for €8.45 is alright. I got the id Pack a long time ago though, so I already have all of those.
Frozen Synapse is more than worth it at that price; especially considering it still contains two copies for the price of one.

Nothing else there really catches my interest today. I think my wallet is safe again.

 

FO NV needs to go substantially down in price. Alpha Protocol I already got in an earlier sale, although at 7.50 EUR (grrr!). Same with Singularity, which I could've gotten a bit cheaper now too (more grrr!). And Trine, also at less than half what I gave for it, but totally worth every cent.

Seems, my wallet will survive this day unscathed. Actually, my credit cards seem to be throwing a party...

Picked up New Vegas for £9, now hoping Fallout 3 GOTY comes on sale at a decent price sometime soon.

Tempted by frozen synapse also!

New Vegas is definately a bargain at £8.99 and allowed me to get the DLCs for silly money. It has not been this low before, so if you enjoy the game get the DLCs as well. £4.48 for both is a bargain vs the £14.98 they normally are for both.

Fallout 3 GOTY is currently 25% off but I think if you hang on it will be featured in the sale somewhere.

 

Gah! Shouldn't have looked at today's deals in GBP prices.

 

New Vegas worth 9 GBP? Considering I got FO3:GOTY for 7 quid from Zavvi a while ago...

Go ahead! Rub it in! I was ecstatic, ECSTATIC I tell you, when I was allowed to buy it from Amazon for 13 GBP.

Problem is, buying from places like Play.com and Zavvi.com can be somewhat tricky since they're shipping from the Channel Islands, which aren't considered part of the EU. Which gives the Danish postal service ample opportunity to tear open the packages looking for goods, for which toll needs to be paid. Even if they don't find anything (anything below 10 EUR is toll-free) they still get to hit you with a fee of 150 DKR for "services rendered".
