No, I think the point is that this collects all those models precisely so you don't have to source them individually.
No, it's just a graphics mod. Replacement cars look out of place anyways. I've been eyeing with this mod for a while but i think i'll actually go for it once 1.2.5 is out. EDIT: My opinion just changed, with that mod the default cars actually end up looking more out of place. Need the high-res reflection maps
I ran it for 10 mins with my MSI 560Ti and it was fine. I gave it a shot on my Steam version. It's not as good as the video but better than vanilla. They're working on a Steam compatible version which should be out soon!
That's good to hear, I'll give it a shot a little later down the line I think... I don't want to kill my bandwidth limit for GTA IV this month and think it might be worthwhile waiting for a new version that is compatible with the latest patches so I don't have to fiddle about with Steam.
This almost makes me wish I had GTA4 for PC, instead of PS3. Some of the mods people come up with are fantastic. Similarly, some are abysmal
Anyone know of a way of getting this to run with the Steam version? Is it just a case of not using the exe that comes with the mod?
Actually it looks like there already is a workaround, but it would be nice not to have to mess about: http://www.gtagaming.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2198415
Cheers - that's what I was after. @Dwarfer - yes I read that they were working on a Steam version, but there is always usually a workaround to get these things working on Steam - my google fingers did not work for me today!
