I'd love the chance to try out 3D gaming! First Person Shooters if at all possible!

I will be building a budget mini-mod system for this coming year at Uni, for fun. I would like to get hands on with many components and options for this build, especially AMD's new range of Lynx processors.
It's a couple of weeks before my birthday, so it would also be a good chance to treat myself ;)

I would like to see the people behind the articles because I am trying to get a job as a graphic designer for a one of the many magazines I have a genuine interest in.

A chance to see an in depth view of Windows 8 - probably not possible beyond what youtube has available but I would still be interested in seeing it - and the reason: because why not? Windows 7 was a success and I'd like to see if Windows 8 could better it!!

I'd love to see power saving technologies in everyday use. Things like ultra low power (but very capable) desktops based on AMD's Llano and Intels low-power Sandybridge (eg. Core I3 2100t) APU's.

I'd also like to see manufacturers admit that current 3D tech is nonsense. Let's go back to VR or forward to true holographic projection.

I wanna see a whole wall covered by the front covers of every CPC issue released! Would be a sweet way of seeing how tech has progressed over the years.

I would really like to see bezeless screens. I havn't invested in multiscreen for gaming for this reason. But have just forked out a small fortune for a projector, which is probably better.

I kind of get the appeal of smaller technology, i.e powerful MATX boards but I like my technology big! it could be my failing eyesight or my club hands, either way smaller = more fiddly.

On that note - I'd like to see what they have in terms of the latest tablets, been meaning to buy one but cant make up my mind.

I'd like to see some small power efficient computers, ones that can be used as HTPC's for example. Things along the lines of the eMachine or computers based on the AMD Fusion APU.

Also some software to complement this, the likes of XBMC etc.
